Earlier this year. IT Services was tasked with assisting a local web development and hosting provider, with the planning and implementation of a hosted Exchange Server.

On the 5th November, Apple announced the retirement of their dedicated server platform, XServe, effective January 31st 2011, ending a product that has seen poor sales.
XServe is Apple's only designated server hardware design, anyone wishing to run the Mac OS X Server platform, will have to purchase a Mac Pro, or Mac Mini with Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard.
